Our Programs

We discovered that from the Early days of our Organization that what endeared Our Lord Jesus to all who came to Him was His relevance to their situation at the time. His practical approach to the needs, questions, and pains of the people He met can be arguably considered the single greatest Example He Left to every one to do for others in need beginning from the church to the community. At SCDO  therefore, our primary activity is to preach the Gospel and to disciple the communities where God has sent us. To Build and facilitate communities to act as one voice against inequity and Injustices that cause poverty and vulnerability to the people.we engage in the following activities.

       Economic Empowerment
 

SCDO  gives widows small grants, loans and livestock to facilitate household income so that the children under their care can have basics like soap, salt, clothing and minor medical expenses. Because of poor incomes, some families loose kids from preventable diseases which can be treated with less than a $1.00 USD

31 rural families have been able to receive from this program most especially those that are suffering from HIV/AIDS. Many families have been either infected or affected by the epidemic.

Widows and single mothers with their Hybrid maize seeds from SCDO Community Program For Improving the Lives of the poor and increasing food security in rural families in Uganda

donate $10 to help family Improve the livelihood of its members. Over 30 families benefited from this program.

Children's Homes and Orphanages: SCDO, Want to help  provide housing and shelter for abandoned, Homeless or Orphaned children.

Rescue Operations: SCDO want to help interventions efforts to release children from situation of  abuse,exploitation, and slavery.

Community Development: SCDO want to partner with communities and extended families to reach basic standards of Living to save Children.

Adoption and Foster Care: SCDO  want to set up foster homes and find caring people and adopted families who will raise children who have lost their parents with love and discipline.

Child Sponsorship: SCDO believes that Education is  child right and the pillar to development,strives to call more caring people share their blessing
