Education in Rural Uganda.

 In Uganda, poor families generally Value Education Highly. they know that literacy, numeracy and the other types of knowledge and social skills acquired at school are the key to higher standards of Living. it is against this believe that even those who cannot afford pay for higher cost for education, end up taking classes in local Churches. The Church Leaders have tried to promote Education as they long preach the gospel to the  community. 

SCDO in partnership with pastors in Local Churches, is supporting some of the children who are taking classes in these churches.  most of the teachers are volunteers within the church who take the step to help educate these Children. However, things like, text books,  Chalk, Chairs, and other many learning materials are story  most of the time.
Partner with us to Build SCDO Community school project for these poor needy children in Rural areas of Mpigi District In Uganda.
